I'm not sure what, if any penalties will be awarded to Mike Alessi after that kamikaze move. I think he should seriously consider getting out of racing if this is how he reacts to being passed.
You can see him get on the throttle while he's pointed right at Tickle's bike.

That whole family is unhinged. I remember watching Mike come up through the 125s, the dad is like a slave driver and treated the brother as a lesser human for not being as obsessed with racing, guess #800 finally cracked.

It looked like he had a little room for plausible deniability "Oh I'm real sorry for him, I just lost it in the corner" until they showed that great shot of him twisting the throttle just before impact. He needs a year off to think about it.
